What is email?

You never know, some street kids may actually have email addresses. Email is a very powerful communication tool today. What are the risks involved in email?
There are a lot of risks involved with email. First of all, there is a threat of virus attacks through email. Anyone can send you malicious email. If there are emails with attachments, you have to be careful. For all you know, there may be some people out there who have already successfully uploaded a virus onto your system already. Scan your computer for any threats now! Second, email contains confidential information that can be hacked anytime. If you have confidential information in your email then you should be careful. Anyone can hack into your email address and read confidential information that may be very sensitive. Someone might even attempt to pose as you through your email. If you are going to have an email address, you have to make sure that you have a very good password. You have to make sure that no one else is hacking into your account. You have to make sure that you check your mail regularly so that when you notice any suspicious activity, you can automatically report it to the authorities.
